Amendment #3 to H4198

Addition to the Energy Efficiency Advisory Council

Representatives Beaton of Shrewsbury and Ferguson of Holden moves to amend the amendment in section 5, line 37, by striking the figure “15” and inserting in place thereof, the figure: “16”; and further, by striking, in section 6, line 41, after the word “industry,” the words, “(14) a business employing less than 10 persons located in the commonwealth that performs energy efficiency services and (15) the department of energy resources.”, and inserting, in place thereof, the following: “(14) the department of energy resources, (15) a representative from an Independent Installation Contractor (IIC) company, with fewer than 10 employees, that is currently participating in the Mass Save program, and (16) a representative from a Home Performance Contractor (HPC) company, with fewer than 10 employees, that is currently participating in the Mass Save program.  The IIC representative shall be elected by a majority of the current IIC businesses participating in the Mass Save program. The HPC representative shall apply to the department and shall be elected by a majority of the current HPC businesses participating in the Mass Save program.”.
