Grade 3 Leaks

Ms. Ehrlich of Marblehead moves to amend the bill in section 1, lines 16-19, by striking out subsection (3) and inserting in place thereof the following subsection:

(3) Grade 3.  A leak that is recognized as non-hazardous at the time of detection. Repair of such leaks shall be required within 36 months from the date of detection. Such leaks shall be reevaluated during the next required leak survey or annually, whichever is sooner, until the leak is eliminated or main replaced.
