MassDOT reform - retainage

Mr. Straus of Mattapoisett moves to amend the bill adding at the end thereof the following new section: SECTION XX. Section 39G of chapter 30 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “retainage”, in lines 25, 26, and 64, each time it appears, the following words:- , if held by the awarding authority,
