DCR Technical Amendment

Mr. Rodrigues moved that the proposed new text be amended by striking out section 19 in its entirety and replacing it with the following section:--

SECTION 19.  (a)  Section 9 of chapter 8 of the General Laws, as so appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 16, the words “the division of urban” and inserting in place thereof the following word: - state.

(b)  Whenever the term "division of urban parks and recreation" appears in any statute, regulation, contract, or other document, it shall be taken to mean the division of state parks and recreation.
