Nursing Home Leaves of Absence

Mr. Kennedy and Ms. Fargo moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 4000-0640, Mr. Kennedy moved that the bill be amended, in Section 2, in item 4000-0640, by adding the following words:-

“; and provided further, that funds shall be expended in an amount not less than that appropriated in fiscal year 2012 for purposes of reimbursing nursing facilities for up to 10 bedhold days for patients of the facility on medical and non-medical leaves of absence.”.
