Center of Health Information and Analysis

Mr. Tarr moves to amend the bill by adding the following section :-

“SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the office of performance management and oversight, as established under subsection (i) of section 16G of chapter 6A of the General Laws, shall conduct a review of the Center of Health Information and Analysis’s annual expenses, cost growth and the assessment methodology and make recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the agency.

The office of performance management and oversight shall submit a report along with any recommendations about legislation to the clerks of the house and senate, the house and senate committee on ways and means and the joint committee on health care financing, not later than March 15, 2015.”
