Western Mass Pike Tolling

Ms. Peisch of Wellesley moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

SECTION XX. Section 13 of Chapter 6C of the General Laws as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting after the third sentence, in line 16, the following sentence:-

The department shall devise and implement a fee structure to charge and collect tolls for transit over the turnpike between Interchange 1 – West Stockbridge and Interchange 6 – Springfield/I-291. Said tolling shall be in effect no later than June 30, 2014.
