Amendment #121 to H3400

Low Income Energy Assistance

Representatives Donato of Medford, Brodeur of Melrose and Sciortino of Medford move to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 7004-0108 the following item:

"  7004-1000:  For the purposes of provide advance funding, no later than 30 days after the start of the state fiscal year, to the department of housing and community development and eligible local  entities that administer the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, to carry out any and all purposes consistent with the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program state plan submitted to the federal Department of Health and Human Services; provided that all such funds shall be reimbursed to the Commonwealth upon receipt of federal Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program funds" …..                                                                                                                                                              $20,000,000
