GIC Wellness Program Funding

Mr. Lewis of Winchester moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 1108-5100, by inserting at the end thereof the following words:

" and provided further, that the commission shall expend no more than $1,500,000 on a wellness program to improve the health status of state employees and early retirees, and the commission shall develop and implement a strategy to use financial incentives to encourage greater participation in the program.”; and in said item 1108-5100, by striking out the figures "2,962,183" and inserting in place thereof the figures " 3,948,943."
