Amendment #23 to H3400

An amendment relative to Section 2E of Chapter 131

Representatives Turner of Dennis and Gobi of Spencer move to amend the bill by adding the following section:

SECTION XXXX. SECTION 2E of Chapter 131 of the Acts of 2010 is hereby amended by adding at the end the following:  Regional School Transportation shall not be lowered by 9C cuts of the Governor, but rather by vote of the Legislature. Further, any reductions made by the legislature shall not be greater than the percentage reduction in Chapter 70 school aid."
