Amendment #270 to H3400

An Act relative to reducing the sales tax to 5%

Representatives Lombardo of Billerica, Kuros of Uxbridge, Lyons of Andover and O'Connell of Taunton move to amend the bill by adding the following new section::—

SECTION XX

(a)Section 2 of Chapter 64H of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking “6.25 per cent” and replacing it with “5 per cent”.

(b)SECTION 2. Section 2 of Chapter 64I of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking “6.25 per cent” and replacing it with “5 per cent”.
