Amendment #433 to H3400

Collective Bargaining

Mr. Golden of Lowell moves to amend by adding the following section:-

Section XX.  Section 59B of chapter 71 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "chapter", in lines 13 and 14, the following words:- ;provided, however, that in case of custodial, maintenance and other non-teaching positions, the hiring, promotion and termination of such employees shall be conducted in accordance with chapter 31 if such positions are classified as civil service positions or in accordance with any governing collective bargaining agreement.
