Representatives McMurtry of Dedham and Walsh of Framingham move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7061-9412 by adding the following:

provided further said program shall provide not less than three hours during the school day to allow teacher professional development lesson planning opportunities provided that such preparation is utilized to improve student instruction with an emphasis on improved student performance and achievement at the school
