BPD Gang Unit

Mr. Collins of Boston moves to amend the bill in Section 2, item 8100-0111, by inserting at the end thereof:-

“ ;provided that no less than $500,000 shall be directed to the Special Operations Unit and Youth Violence Strike Force of the Boston Police Department for the purposes of training and maintaining adequate staffing levels.” And moves that the item be further amended by striking out the figure “$2,000,000” and inserting in place thereof:- “$2,500,000”
