Unaccompanied Homeless Youth
Representatives O'Day of West Boylston, Heroux of Attleboro, Andrews of Orange, Fox of Boston, Keefe of Worcester, Rogers of Cambridge, Sullivan of Fall River, Cronin of Easton, Kafka of Stoughton, Khan of Newton, Kocot of Northampton, Malia of Boston, Ehrlich of Marblehead, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Gordon of Bedford, Hecht of Watertown, Swan of Springfield, Walsh of Lynn, Garballey of Arlington, Provost of Somerville and Scibak of South Hadley move to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 4000-0300, by adding the following “$500,000 for the work of the Massachusetts Unaccompanied Homeless Youth Commission to determine the scope of need among unaccompanied youth and young adults ages 24 and younger who are experiencing homelessness, and to identify and implement potential models for appropriate service delivery to unaccompanied homeless youth in urban, suburban, and rural areas of the Commonwealth.” and in said item by striking out the figures "$88,105,815" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$88,605,815".
