Amendment #530 to H3400

Alternative Education Grant Program

Ms. Peisch of Wellesley moves to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 7061-9611 the following item:

"xxxx-xxxx  For the alternative education grant program established in section 1N of chapter 69 of the General Laws; provided, that the commissioner shall allocate funds for subsections (a) and (b) of said section 1N of said chapter 69; provided further, that not less than $600,000 shall be used by the department for the purpose of implementing a pilot program to develop inter-district regional alternative education programs to provide educational services required under Chapter 222 of the Acts of 2012 or services to students at risk of dropping out of school……..$746,140”
