Lottery Ticket Litter Reduction

Representatives Kuros of Uxbridge and Hecht of Watertown move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 0640-0010, by adding the following:

"and provided further, that not less than 20 per cent of the amount appropriated in this item shall be expended by the state treasurer for the creation, implementation and marketing of a so-called 'second chance' lottery program to encourage the recycling of lottery tickets to reduce waste and litter".
