Creating Veteran Centers in colleges and Universities

Representatives Parisella of Beverly, Miceli of Wilmington, Basile of Boston, Garballey of Arlington, Schmid of Westport, Garlick of Needham, Khan of Newton, McMurtry of Dedham, Gordon of Bedford and Murphy of Weymouth move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7066-0000, by striking out the figure “$2,908,529” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$3,408,529” and inserting after the word “finance” the words: “;and provided further that the commissioner shall provide grants totaling up to $500,000 to the State Universities, Community Colleges, and the University of Massachusetts Campuses to establish and or operate veterans centers
