Amendment #595 to H3400

DCF - Fragile Beginnings Program

Representatives Stanley of Waltham, Gordon of Bedford, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Lawn of Watertown, Kaufman of Lexington, Khan of Newton, Sannicandro of Ashland, Hecht of Watertown and Decker of Cambridge move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4800-0038, on page #75, in line #12, by inserting after "juvenile firesetter programs" the following: "provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended for the Fragile Beginnings program to provide counseling and education to drug addicted pregnant women and mothers”; and in said item by striking out the figures "$250,114,828" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$250,214,828".
