Annualization of Human Service Salary Reserve
Representatives Balser of Newton, Hecht of Watertown, Finn of West Springfield, Cronin of Easton, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Miceli of Wilmington, Kaufman of Lexington and Lyons of Andover move to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 1599-4444 the following item:
1599-6901For a reserve to annualize the adjustment of wages, compensation or salary and associated employee-related costs to personnel earning less than $40,000 in annual compensation who are employed by private human service providers as provided in line item 1599-6901 of chapter 139 of the acts of 2012; provided, however, that the implementation and distribution of funds from this reserve shall be coordinated with the establishment of rates of payment for social service programs pursuant to section 13C of chapter 118E to avoid the duplication of any adjustment to the wages, compensation or salaries and associated employee-related costs to personnel earning less than $40,000 in annual compensation…..$19,842,306
