Representatives Honan of Boston, Walsh of Boston, Forry of Boston, Lombardo of Billerica, Canavan of Brockton, Gregoire of Marlborough, Mannal of Barnstable, Vieira of Falmouth, Cantwell of Marshfield, Hecht of Watertown, Sannicandro of Ashland, Dwyer of Woburn, Madden of Nantucket, Lawn of Watertown, Hogan of Stow, Balser of Newton, Brady of Brockton, Brodeur of Melrose, Walsh of Framingham, Finn of West Springfield, Wagner of Chicopee, Decker of Cambridge, Schmid of Westport, Cronin of Easton, deMacedo of Plymouth, Rosa of Leominster, Sciortino of Medford, Devers of Lawrence, Turner of Dennis, Conroy of Wayland, Mark of Peru, Donato of Medford and Provost of Somerville move that the bill be amended in Section 2 by striking out item 4590-1507 and inserting in place thereof the following item:-

4590-1507 For matching grants to the Massachusetts Alliance of Boys and Girls Clubs, the Alliance of Massachusetts YMCAs, the YWCA organizations, nonprofit community centers, teen empowerment and youth development programs; provided, that the department of public health shall award the full amount of each grant to each organization previously included in the youth-at-risk grants, upon commitment of matching funds from those organizations; and provided further, that the department of public health shall award not less than $1,300,000 to the Massachusetts Alliance of Boys and Girls Clubs, which shall be distributed equally between said recipient’s member organizations……………………………..…..….$2,600,000
