Amendment #655 to H3400

Department of Fire Services Programming

Representatives Toomey of Cambridge, Canavan of Brockton, Cantwell of Marshfield, Decker of Cambridge, DiNatale of Fitchburg, Garballey of Arlington, Garry of Dracut, Golden of Lowell, Lawn of Watertown and McMurtry of Dedham move to amend the bill in section 2, line item 8324-0000, by inserting at the end thereof, the following:-

; provided, that the department shall allocate $1,200,000 for the student awareness fire education program; provided further, that $100,000 shall be allocated by the department for Critical Incident Stress Management Residential Services; provided further, that no less than $100,000 shall be expended for the administration of a statewide program to provide critical incident stress intervention for fire departments in cities, towns, fire districts, and authorities of the commonwealth including but not limited to, consultant services, training, equipment and supplies.

And further, in line item 8324-000, by striking out the figures “15,145,867”, and inserting in place thereof, the figures “16,545,867”.
