Amendment #659 to H3400

Representatives Forry of Boston, Walsh of Boston, Malia of Boston, Ashe of Longmeadow, Fox of Boston, Henriquez of Boston, Khan of Newton and Mark of Peru move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 3000-1000, in line 3, by inserting after “department;” which appears first the following:

“provided that funds from this item shall be used to ensure that all family child care homes are subjected to quarterly check-ins throughout the year by licensors; provided further, that no licensor shall have assignment levels of day care centers or family day care homes in excess of the standards set forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children”; and in said item by striking out figures “12,353,980” and inserting in place thereof the figures “21,844,972”.
