Amendment #720 to H3400

Excluding National Guard Pensions from MA Taxes

Representatives Durant of Spencer, O'Connell of Taunton and Kuros of Uxbridge move to amend the bill by adding the following section:

SECTION XXXX.  Subsection (E) of section 2 of section 2(a) of chapter 63 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding, after the words “10 U.S.C. section 1072”, the following: ‘or any income received from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as retirement pay for a retired member of any branch of the Massachusetts National Guard’
