Amendment #745 to H3400

Housing Authority handicap conversion grants

Mr. Durant of Spencer moves to amend the bill by inserting after item 7004-9005 the following item:

"7004-XXXX Housing Authority handicap conversion grants

For grants to local or regional Housing Authorities for capital improvements to renovate housing units for handicapped accessibility; provided that the Department of Housing and Community development shall award grants based upon competitive applications in amounts not to exceed fifty thousand dollars……………………………………….$500,000”.
