Transparency in the MBTA pension system

Representatives O'Connell of Taunton, Beaton of Shrewsbury, Durant of Spencer, Dwyer of Woburn, Jones of North Reading, Kuros of Uxbridge, Lombardo of Billerica, Lyons of Andover, Orrall of Lakeville and D'Emilia of Bridgewater move to amend House Bill 3400 by adding the following section “SECTION XX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Board of the Massachusetts Bay Transport Authority shall, in conjunction with the Commonwealth’s transparency-promoting open checkbook program, publish online all pension payment information including but not limited to name, former position, amount of yearly distribution of pension, and age of collector by June 1, 2013."
