Preserve Small Business Group Purchasing Cooperatives

Ms. Dykema of Holliston moves to amend the bill by adding after Section 104 the following section:--

Section xx.  Notwithstanding any special or general law to the contrary, any small business group purchasing cooperative authorized under Chapter 288 of the Acts of 2010, certified to operate by the division of insurance prior to July 1, 2013, may operate for plan years beginning on January 1, 2015, as a single plan sponsor and operate as a fully insured large group employer under continued authorization and reporting requirements to the division as required in Chapter 176J of the General Laws, or in the same manner as required of groups authorized under Section 78 of Chapter 153 of the Acts of 1992.
