Compliance with Federal Social Security Number Requirements

Mr. Cabral of New Bedford moves to amend the bill in Section 16W, in line 213, after the word, "months" by inserting the words:

"provided that benefits may not be delayed, denied, or decreased to an applicant who has shown good cause in accordance with federal law for failure to provide a social security number."

And in SECTION 11, in line 415, after the word, "failed", by inserting the words, "without good cause in accordance with federal law."
