Amendment #10 to H3700

Railroad Bridge Abutment Removal

Representatives Turner of Dennis and Mannal of Barnstable moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

SECTION XXXX. For a matching grant for the towns of Dennis and Yarmouth to participate with the Army Corps of Engineers or any other entity; provided that not less than $150,000 be appropriated to be used: (a) to review the technical and logistic aspects of removing the granite railroad bridge abutments remaining from the removal of the railroad bridge that crossed Bass River in the towns of Dennis and Yarmouth; (b) should it be determined by the towns of Dennis and Yarmouth that the funds not be needed for this match, said funds shall remain available as a matching grant for the removal of the bridge abutments
