Senator Rush amendment

Mr. Rush moves to amend the bill in section 2, by inserting after the word “above”, in line 18, the following words:-  “or other appropriate replacement land, subject to the approval of the executive office of energy and environmental affairs”; and

by striking out section 4; and

by inserting before the enacting clause the following emergency preamble:

“Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to provide for the construction and operation of a regional indoor ice skating rink and recreation center in the town of Norwood, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
