Mr. Hecht moves to amend the bill in Section 4, in lines 32 and 33, by striking out the words “the website shall inform the user how he or she may obtain a voter registration form” and inserting in place thereof the words “or if the voter’s registration is inactive, the website shall inform the user how he or she may obtain a voter registration form or restore his or her registration to active status”.
