Hadley -- 6 additional alcohol licenses

Mr. Rosenberg moves to amend the bill in section 1, by striking out the third and fourth sentences; in said section 1, by striking out, in line 12, the words “sections 12 and 77” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “section 12”; and in said section 1, by striking out the third and fourth paragraphs and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:-

“Once issued, the licensing authority shall not approve the transfer of that license to any other location, but it may grant a license to a new applicant at the same location if the applicant files with the licensing authority a letter from the department of revenue indicating that the license is in good standing with the department and that all applicable taxes have been paid.”
