Amendment #142 to H3860

Northern Tier Commuter-Passenger Rail Service Extension Feasibility Study

Representatives Andrews of Orange, Cariddi of North Adams, Mark of Peru, Zlotnik of Gardner, Gobi of Spencer and Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield moves to amend the bill in section 2A, in line 200, by inserting after “Bedford” the following: “and provided further, that not less than $500,000 shall be expended to study the cost and feasibility of using current commuter rail infrastructure for the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority’s Fitchburg/South Acton Line continuing to run along the tracks into Albany, New York”; and in said item by striking out the figure “2,978,603,273” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$2,979,103,273”;

and in section 9 by striking out, in line 370, the figure “$3,453,603,273” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$3,454,103,273”.
