Accelerated Permitting for the Dr. Paul Dudley White Pathway Bridge Underpasses

Representatives Livingstone of Boston, Toomey of Cambridge, Rogers of Cambridge and Hecht of Watertown moves to amend the bill in section 2A, in item 6121-1317, by adding the following- “provided further, in order minimize the cost and disruption for the public, that the environmental and preservation permitting for the bridge underpasses at the Anderson Memorial, Western Ave, and River Street Bridges and the connections to the Dr. Paul Dudley White pathway must be allowed to occur in an accelerated fashion. All permitting requests to agencies (including but not limited to MEPA, DCR, DEP, MHC, Army Corps of Engineers, US Coast Guard) must be adjudicated within 60 days. This clause is effective as of January 1, 2014.”
