Cost Benefit Analysis for the Massachusetts Central Rail Trail

Ms. Hogan of Stow moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

“SECTION XX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, before any expenditures may be used to fund the construction or installation of a bicycle path extending from, and including, the town of Berlin to the city of Waltham, located along the Massachusetts Central rail trail, , the department of conservation and recreation shall analyze the potential benefits and expected costs of constructing and installing the bicycle path and shall report its analysis and findings to the house and senate committees on ways and means.”.
