Amendment #2 to H3983

EITC Increase

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Peterson of Grafton, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough and deMacedo of Plymouth moves to amend the bill by inserting at the end thereof the following new sections:-

“SECTION AA. Subsection (h) of section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, in lines 239 and 243, the figure “15” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 17.5.

SECTION BB. Subsection (h) of section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, in lines 239 and 243, the figure “17.5” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 20.

SECTION CC. Subsection (h) of section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, in lines 239 and 243, the figure “20” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 22.5.

SECTION DD. Subsection (h) of section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, in lines 239 and 243, the figure “22.5” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 25.

SECTION EE. Section AA of this act shall be effective January 1, 2015.

SECTION FF. Section BB of this act shall be effective January 1, 2016.

SECTION GG. Section CC of this act shall be effective January 1, 2017.

SECTION HH. Section DD of this act shall be effective January 1, 2018.”.
