Amendment #51 to H3983

Earned Income Tax Credit

Representatives Provost of Somerville, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Benson of Lunenburg, Hecht of Watertown, Rogers of Cambridge, Sciortino of Medford, Cullinane of Boston and Andrews of Orange moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

SECTION XX:

Section A: Subsection (h) of section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, in lines 239 and 243, the figure “15” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 17.5.

SECTION B: Subsection (h) of section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, in lines 239 and 243, the figure “17.5” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 20.

SECTION C: Subsection (h) of section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, in lines 239 and 243, the figure “20” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 22.5.

SECTION D: Subsection (h) of section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, in lines 239 and 243, the figure “22.5” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 25.

SECTION E: Section A of this act shall be effective January 1, 2015.

SECTION F: Section B of this act shall be effective January 1, 2016.

SECTION G: Section C of this act shall be effective January 1, 2017.

SECTION H: Section D of this act shall be effective January 1, 2018.”.
