Amendment #55 to H3983

Delayed Minimum Wage Increase for Municipalities and State Agencies

Representatives deMacedo of Plymouth, Jones of North Reading, Peterson of Grafton, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Beaton of Shrewsbury, Frost of Auburn, Howitt of Seekonk and Vieira of Falmouth moves to amend the bill by inserting in SECTION 70, in line 683, after the word "2014", the following:-

“; provided that Section 31 shall not apply for municipalities and state agencies. Rather, Section 31 shall take effect on July 1, 2015.”

; and further, in SECTION 72, in line 687, after the word “2015”, the following:--

“; provided that Section 32 shall not apply for municipalities and state agencies.  Rather, Section 32 shall take effect on July 1, 2016.”

; and further, in SECTION 73, in line 688, after the word “2016”, the following:--

“; provided that Section 33 shall not apply for municipalities and state agencies.  Rather Section 33 shall take effect on July 1, 2017.”.
