Scarring

Representatives Provost of Somerville, Lewis of Winchester, Keefe of Worcester and Andrews of Orange moves to amend the bill by adding at the end the following section:-

SECTION 1. Section 36 of Chapter 152 of the General Laws, appearing in the 2000 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 74 to 76, inclusive, the following sentence:-

No amount shall be payable under this section for disfigurement that is purely scar based, unless such disfigurement is on the face, neck or hands
