Ability to Work Requirement for Benefits

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Peterson of Grafton, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, deMacedo of Plymouth, Beaton of Shrewsbury and Howitt of Seekonk moves to amend the bill by inserting after SECTION 53, the following new section: -

“SECTION XX.  Section 24 of said chapter 151A, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out subsection (b) and inserting in place thereof the following subsection: - (b) Be able to work, available to work and actively seeing work

; and further by striking the last paragraph of said section 24 of said chapter 151A, as so appearing in its entirety.”.
