Amendment #1010 to H4000

DSS Host Community Mitigation

Mr. Dooley of Norfolk moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 5930-1000, in line 13, by inserting after the word “item;” the following:--

“provided further, that there shall be a mitigation fund for municipalities hosting facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities, distributing funds to each municipality based on the aggregate amount in the fund divided by the department’s average daily resident population in all such facilities and then multiplied by the department’s average daily resident population within said municipality, provided that no less than $500,000 be distributed to each host community each fiscal year;”

and further, in line 24, by striking the figure “$108,176,375” and inserting in place thereof “$108,776,375”.
