Amendment #1050 to H4000

Handicapped Access Grants at Housing Authorities

Representatives Durant of Spencer, Kuros of Uxbridge, Frost of Auburn, Cole of Peabody, Fattman of Sutton and Heroux of Attleboro move to amend the bill by inserting after item 7004-9005 the following item:

"7004-XXXX Housing Authority handicap conversion grants

For grants to local or regional Housing Authorities for capital improvements to renovate housing units for handicapped accessibility; provided that the Department of Housing and Community development shall award grants based upon competitive applications in amounts not to exceed fifty thousand dollars, $500,000”
