Amendment #1081 to H4000

Municipalities Regarding the Pacheco Law

Representatives Howitt of Seekonk, Barrows of Mansfield, Dooley of Norfolk, Orrall of Lakeville, Smola of Warren, Durant of Spencer and Gifford of Wareham move to amend the bill by inserting at the end thereof the following new section: -

"SECTION XX. Chapter 7 of the General Laws as so appearing in the 2012 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting after section 56 the following new section:--

Section 56A. Municipalities shall be exempt from sections 52-56 inclusive, when using local money for a city or town project.".
