RMV NDR Clearance Document

Ms. Peisch of Wellesley moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

“SECTION XX. The Registry of Motor Vehicles shall develop and make available an official document to provide to individuals who receive erroneous license revocation letters as a result of inaccurate National Driver Register matches. Such document shall (i) be provided to individuals after the first time the individual receives a license revocation letter and proves that he is not the same person as identified in the National Driver Register violation, and (ii) permanently clear the individual from being associated with the erroneous match and having to provide documentation for each subsequent offense until such time as the Registry of Motor Vehicles is able to modernize its database to prevent the license revocation letters from being automatically sent to individuals.”
