Amendment #115 to H4000

Municipal Police Staffing Grant

Representatives Moran of Lawrence, DiZoglio of Methuen and Devers of Lawrence move to amend the bill in section 2, line item 1599-0026, in line 6 after the word "Fund" the following:-

"provided further that $5,000,000 shall be transferred to the executive office of public safety and security for a competitive municipal police staffing grant program to be administered by the office for staffing police departments and to support municipal improvements.; and in said item by striking out the figure $2,800,000 and inserting in place thereof the figure $7,800,000"
