Amendment #1168 to H4000

The Water Supply Protection Program and Water Supply Protection Trust

Ms. Gobi of Spencer moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

"SECTION XXXX.

SECTION 1.  The provisions of section 73 of the Chapter 10 of the General Laws, most recently amended by section 23 of St. 2011, chapter 9, are hereby amended by striking the word “Pilot” from the title of the original enactment of the statute under St. 2004, Chapter 149, section 27.

SECTION 2.  Notwithstanding any prior enacted sunset provisions applicable to the Water Supply Protection Program and the Water Supply Protection Trust, the provisions of section 73 of Chapter 10 of the General Laws shall be deemed to have been in existence without interruption and in full force and effect continuously from the date of their original formation and shall hereafter continue in existence pursuant to the provisions of paragraphs (a) through (g) thereof."
