Amendment #224 to H4000

Hospital Infrastructure & Capacity-Building Grants

Mr. Honan of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4000-0700, in line 32 by inserting after the word “goals;” the following:

Provided further, that $45,000,000 shall be expended from this item, or item 4000-0500 if necessary, to achieve maximum federal financial participation, to enhance the ability of hospitals and community health centers to serve populations in need more efficiently and effectively; provided further, that the executive office shall maximize federal reimbursements for state expenditures made to these providers.
