Participation in Athletic Safety Programs

Mr. Cusack of Braintree moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

Section XXXX. Section 222 of Chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding in subsection (a) at the end of the first sentence:-

Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, coaches, athletic directors and parents or legal guardians of a child who participates in an interscholastic athletic activity shall be required to take such course every 2 years.
