Amendment #268 to H4000

Chief Probation Officers

Mr. Binienda of Worcester moves to amend the bill by inserting after Section 105 the following new section:

 

SECTION 106. Section 99B of chapter 276 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking the word “means.” in line 14 and inserting in place the following:

 

means; provided, however, that the salaries of the chief probation officers of the probate court shall be 78 per cent of the salary of the chief justice of said court.  The salaries of the chief probation officers of the Boston municipal court shall be 78 per cent of the salary of the chief justice of said court.  The salaries of the chief probation officers of the juvenile court shall be 78 per cent of the salary of the chief justice of said court.  The salaries of the chief probation officers of the district court shall be 78 per cent of the salary of the chief justice of said court.  The salaries of the chief probation officers of the superior court shall be 78 per cent of the chief justice of said court.
