MassHealth Adult Dental Restoration

Representatives Scibak of South Hadley, Rogers of Cambridge, Cutler of Duxbury, Pignatelli of Lenox, Brodeur of Melrose, Kaufman of Lexington, DiZoglio of Methuen, Peake of Provincetown, Decker of Cambridge, Vieira of Falmouth, Khan of Newton, Vega of Holyoke, Puppolo of Springfield, DiNatale of Fitchburg, Smizik of Brookline, Toomey of Cambridge, Andrews of Orange, Finn of West Springfield, Walsh of Framingham, Nyman of Hanover, Brady of Brockton, Campbell of Methuen, Canavan of Brockton, Gordon of Bedford, Linsky of Natick, Kocot of Northampton, Michlewitz of Boston, Madden of Nantucket, Garlick of Needham, Cantwell of Marshfield, Mark of Peru, Gobi of Spencer, Coppinger of Boston, Cariddi of North Adams, Fernandes of Milford, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Keefe of Worcester, Murphy of Weymouth, Fox of Boston, Peterson of Grafton, Zlotnik of Gardner, Conroy of Wayland, Smola of Warren, Markey of Dartmouth, Garballey of Arlington, Ehrlich of Marblehead, Chan of Quincy, Cabral of New Bedford and Ashe of Longmeadow move to amend the bill in in Section 2, in item 4000-0700, by striking out the figure “$2,344,951,217” and inserting in the place thereof the figure “$2,412,644,379”; provided further that no less than $67,693,162 shall be expended for dental services for adults that were included in its state plan or demonstration program in effect on January 1, 2002, and the dental services that were covered for adults in the MassHealth basic program as of January 1, 2002.”

 

and, Section 84 by striking the following language:-

“shall not exceed” and insert in place thereof “shall not be less than”.
